Sales Launch Conference, Lisbon
OSP worked with LifeScan (a Johnson & Johnson company), to produce a major product launch combined with its annual sales conference. Over 500 delegates from 28 countries spent the week involved in plenary sessions, daily seminars, country conferences, plus two dinners and a gala awards ceremony. Over 40 OSP crew — set construction, AV, autocue, production and more — helped deliver the event which took place in five separate venues in Lisbon, Portugal. A team of eight interpreters simultaneously translated to ensure that everyone could fully participate. The high point? The London Community Gospel Choir were ‘disguised’ in business wear and hidden amongst the delegates (with their microphones concealed). They caused a sensation as they stood up one-by-one to sing a specially rearranged version of the conference theme song — the standing ovation from the audience made it all worthwhile.
